This is a truly remarkable app that has been designed, from the ground up, to work as a visual drawing pen tablet. This app works great and allows me to either work remotely away from my iMac in another location in my apartment or right alongside my iMac. ![]() I have been using this iOS App for over 18 months, now. Works either over WiFi or via USB to a Mac. I use a drawing tablet app for iPad called Astropad.Īstropad turns your iPad into a monitor drawing tablet. In additon I use this app with a third party smart, Bluetooth stylus and NOT with an Apple Pencil. Our antivirus check shows that this download is clean. Similar to Lazy Nezumi, Hej Stylus also allows you to modify your pen’s pressure map. The size of the latest downloadable installation package is 190.2 MB. Hej Stylus is the pen stabilizing and line smoothing app for Mac. I still consider myself a PROFESSIONAL designer/illustrator/painter, even though I only work as a part-time professional, now, due to nagging/chronic personal health issues, and I use my large, 12.9 iPad Pro as a visual drawing tablet at a fraction of the price of a 13 inch Wacom monitor tablet. The actual developer of the program is Stylus Studio. You really shouldn't make blanket statements like this one. What started as a simple tool to improve my linework has become a nifty tool for illustrators, graphic/product/3d/ designers, for well known game companies and for mayor film companies not only in LA. I personally know of no serious designer that uses an iPad as their production system for graphic arts, but that does not mean there aren't any, I'm sure they are out there - but an iPad and iOS in general would present limitations for professional graphic artists that could be overcome by using what is more traditionally considered a laptop or desktop computer.Īs for recommendation what's your budget and what software are you using and what type of work are you doing? HEJ STYLUS I’ve started Hej Stylus back in 2016 and since then things got a bit crazy in my world. Most if not all these products will work with Mac, Windows, Unix, etc.Īn ipad is not a dedicated drawing tablet, it's a tablet based computer that you happen to be able to draw on - IMHO like a modern Etch-A-Sketch. ![]() ![]() Many of these programs are adaptable to features that a stylus+tablet solution allows to better simulate brush strokes and pressure, etc. they are also very commonly used with artists who work in applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Painter, GIMP, Affinity, etc. The pen you are looking at appears to be more of a mouse, less of a percision tool for artists.ĭrawing tablets are precision instruments for computer users who are fine artists, graphic designers, game developers, texture designers, etc. Feel free to post in your native language if it's easier for you.
